Wax is just an extract with a particular texture — it's not stronger, purer, or safer than shatter, live resin, or rosin made from the same starting material. Texture is mostly about how the extract was purged and agitated, plus its cannabinoid and terpene profile. If someone tells you wax hits harder than shatter, that's folklore. What matters is the source material, the solvent (if any), and residual solvent testing.

How it's made

What it does
Wax typically tests between 60–85% THC, so a small dab delivers a large cannabinoid dose quickly compared with smoking flower [4].
